Turkey Chili Prep Time:10 minutes Cook Time:25 minutes Serves:10-12 1 cup servingsIngredients: 2 -15 oz cans of stewed tomatoes
1 can black beans
1 can red or white kidney beans
2 cans chili beans (Bush brand) or use regular pinto beans
1 packet chili seasoning (such as McCormick)
1/2 cup chopped onions (optional)
1 16-20 oz. Package extra-lean ground turkey (I use 99% fat free Jennie-O Turkey Store Brand)
Tip: If you prefer a vegetarian version, leave out the ground turkey. Or, you can substitute chunk chicken for the turkey. Instructions: Brown turkey.
Drain any fat from the turkey.
Add beans (undrained), onions, tomatoes (undrained), seasoning, and turkey into a large pot.
Bring to Boil.
